PENNDOT Maintenance Schedule for Centre County July 27 to July 31
Bellefonte, PA – PENNDOT Centre County Maintenance announces the following work schedule for the week of July 27, 2020 through July 31, 2020, weather permitting. Motorists should travel with extra caution in these and all work areas. Motorists should be aware that due to the nature of highway maintenance and emergency work, crews could be working on any highway at any time of the day or night.

The following work is scheduled to be completed by contractor, weather permitting.
George S Hann & Sons, Inc, will continue construction on SR 26 bridge site at Segment 0200 Offset 0000 Northbound and Segment 0201 Offset 0000 Southbound over Thompson Run at Puddintown Road. Traffic will continue in phase # 3 with 2 lanes of traffic being maintained with center turning lane closed. Puddintown Road at the SR26 intersection is closed, with a local detour in place.
George S Hann & Sons, Inc, is switching to a newly constructed bridge deck on Friday, July 10, 2020 on SR3040 at Segment 0200 Offset 0000 over Adery Run. Traffic will continue in phase #2 with Southbound lane closed and an alternating traffic pattern controlled by a temporary traffic signal.
George S Hann & Sons, Inc, is beginning bridge rehabilitation on a bridge site on SR1002 at Segment 0290 Offset 0450 over Marsh Creek. The bridge is closed with a local detour in place.
Glenn O. Hawbaker began construction on SR45 Old Fort they will continue placing the wearing course. Traffic patterns will be in place starting at 8:30am daily and work is weather dependent.
Glenn O. Hawbaker will continue construction on SR3014 Atherton Street, State College. The work will be on East Bound from Segment 0060 Offset 2696 to Segment 0090 Offset 1771 and West Bound Segment 0061 Offset 2696 to Segment 0091 Offset 1768. They will be reconstruction of the roadway will superpave asphalt, drainage improvements, water and sewer line work, curbing and sidewalks, traffic signals. The section of work is being done from West Aaron Drive to Curtin Road.
Glenn O. Hawbaker has started work on I-99 in Spring Township, from Segment 0821 Offset 2404 to Segment 0851 Offset 0132 South Bound and Segment 0820 Offset 2342 to Segment 0850 Offset 0120 North Bound for a total of 2.55 miles. It runs from Pleasant Gap Exit to I-80 on I-99 North Bound and South Bound. Paving will continue in the right travel lane.
Nestlerode Contracting Company will continue their work for replacing a box culvert on SR 2007 in Spring Mills. The contractor is scheduled to begin paving on July 27 and July 28 followed by guiderail installation and site clean up once the paving is complete. There is a detour that will remain in place until all work is completed.
