Never Forget: 20th Anniversary of 9/11

Remembering 9/11

Today marks the 20 years since the terrorists attacked the US. September 11, 2001. The events that happened on 9/11 forever changed our country and we, as a nation, must never forget the innocent people who lost their lives and their families who endure the lasting pain of this attack. We shall remember and honor the first responders who selflessly showed up and lead the countless acts of bravery and heroism that saved lives on 9/11. Take time to remember the victims, the families, and survivors dealing with loss as our nation wrestles with the long-lasting consequences of 9/11. This solemn day is a day to reflect and remember those we lost and suffered.

We must never forget the first responders who put themselves in harm’s way to save their fellow citizens. Many of those were either killed or have livelong health issues from the attack. This solemn day is a day to reflect and remember those we lost and suffered.

Penn State is offering events and resources to students and community members for the 20th commemoration, learn more here.
