Keep Chickens & Ducks on Your Property!

Did you know that residents of Ferguson Township can own chickens and ducks on their property?
Residents may keep up to six (6) poultry (chickens and ducks) and no more than four (4) ducks on a residential lot. Chicken hens must be kept in a chicken pen, chicken coop, chicken tractor or chicken pen during daylight hours and a henhouse during non-daylight hours. All they need to do is apply for a zoning permit and pay a $25 fee.
Apply by filling out a Zoning Permit and visiting the Planning & Zoning Department at the Ferguson Township Municipal Building at 3147 Research Drive. Click here to learn more about this ordinance.
