Centre County Rolls Out Broadband Internet Speed Survey
DSL Internet Service in Centre County (Centre County Planning & Community Development Office, 2017)

Centre County and CTC Technology & Energy have rolled out a Broadband Internet Speed Survey for residents in the Centre Region to complete in the coming weeks. This survey will help provide a more complete and accurate picture of the internet speeds experienced by most Centre County residents.

Between the dates of February 7, 2022 and March 25, 2022, the survey can be completed here: https://centrecountypa.speedsurvey.org

The survey can be completed in less than 5 minutes, and also conducts an internet speed test based on the megabits per second (Mbps) a resident's home internet connection is capable of downloading and uploading under a certain time frame. To qualify as broadband-level speed under the federal definition, home internet service should be able to download 25Mbps, and upload 3Mbps during the test.

If residents are unable to access this survey and would still like to participate in the survey, a link can be found here to download and print a physical copy of the survey and return the completed survey to: Attn: Planning, 420 Holmes Street, Bellefonte, PA 16823
