Ferguson Township Excited To Launch Internship Program

As part of the Township's community engagement initiatives outlined in the approved 2019 Budget, the Board of Supervisors expressed support to have a meaingful and impactful internship program. The Manager and Assistant to the Manager are working to design and develop a strategical and methodical approach to launching a sophisticated internship program early spring 2020.

The overall goal of this program is for Ferguson Township, and future interns, to establish a mutually beneficial relationship for increased community engagement activity. More specifically, the goal is to increase Township communications and engagement efforts by engaging student interns in Township projects and initiatives, and to provide students with valuable learning experiences through public service work.
