Ferguson Township Board of Supervisors Swearing-in Ceremony

ABC Meeting Room

Ferguson Township will soon make history with an all-female Board of Supervisors in the Centre Region.

Ferguson Township will hold their Regular Meeting on Monday, January 3, as an all-female Board of Supervisors. Supervisor-Elect, Ms. Tierra Williams and Supervisor-Elect, Ms. Hillary Caldwell, won the 2021 local municipal election and will be sworn in alongside Supervisor Strickland on Monday, January 3.

The first female president judge of the Centre County Court of Common Pleas will lead the swearing-in ceremony for this historic all-female board. The Honorable Judge Ruest is praised for her accomplishments and recognized for leading a career that advances women in the judiciary.

In the Main Meeting Room at Ferguson Township, a meaningful swearing-in ceremony will take place beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, January 3. The ceremony will be available for virtual attendance, via Zoom platform, and in-person with no more than 25 attendees in the room at any given time due to the surge of COVID-19 cases in our community. Mask and social distancing will be required as we come together, in-person and virtually, for this monumental experience.

Zoom meeting details can be found here.

Please contact Assistant Township Manager Centrice Martin or Township Manager Dave Pribulka should you have any questions about the swearing-in ceremony.
