Ferguson Township Appoints New Director of Finance

On Tuesday, May 2, 2023, the Board of Supervisors formally appointed Deeya Kochhar as Ferguson Township's new Director of Finance.

As the Director of Finance, Ms. Kochhar's responsibilities include management of all of Ferguson Township’s fiscal affairs, including preparation of the annual operating budget and capital improvement plan, tax collection, financial accounting, investments, custody and control of municipal funds, assets and property, taxation, risk management, and pensions.

Ms. Kochhar has a bachelor’s degree in commerce as well as an MBA with a specialization in finance. She brings with her 20 years of experience in the field of finance. Her knowledge of and ability to navigate new systems will help streamline the Finance Department’s workflow.
