Enjoy a Trip Back in Time at Jana’s Drive-in Diner

Jana Marie Foundation holds special evening July 18 in Nittany Mall Parking Lot
Jana’s Drive-in Diner

Grab your poodle skirts and leather jackets and celebrate a nostalgic summer evening in Centre County. The Jana Marie Foundation, along with Blaise Alexander and the Nittany Mall, presents Jana’s Drive-in Diner Saturday, July 18, in the Nittany Mall parking lot, between Entrance C and Planet Fitness.

It’s an evening where you can enjoy throwback music and casual dining in your vehicle. Food trucks will be cooking up the tasty meals, and car-side delivery will be provided courtesy of the State College Area Roller Derby team. Live entertainment will be provided by Tommy Wareham and RamaLama, and WOWY (97.1 FM) will broadcast live. The event is from 5 to 8 p.m., and the cost is $15 per meal (please bring cash or check). 1950’s attire is not required, but certainly encouraged!

Participating food trucks include Snyder’s Concessions and Mac and Meats.

“Jana’s Drive-In Diner presented by Blaise Alexander and the Nittany Mall will not only generate necessary funding to grow the confidence of young people and provide crucial mental health education, but will also offer a unique opportunity to come together as a community and create lasting memories while following social distancing recommendations,” says Marisa Vicere, President and Founder of the Jana Marie Foundation.

Guests are asked to stay in cars the entire time to ensure social distancing and the safety of everyone. Orders will be taken through a paper menu, and everyone is asked to wear a mask when talking with volunteers and servers.

Sponsors for the Jana’s Drive-In Diner include Blaise Alexander, Nittany Mall, State College Area Roller Derby, Sheetz, Hartley’s Potato Chips, and WOWY.
