Christmas Trees Collection

Christmas Trees will be collected the week of January 17 - 21, 2022

• Trees will be collected on your regular collection day.  Please have your tree at the curb by 7 a.m.
   
• Trees must be free of ice and snow.*
• Please, no bags, lights, stands, or decorations on trees. 
• If your tree is taller than 6 feet, please cut it into 6-foot lengths.  There is no need to remove branches.

*Keeping your tree free of ice and snow: If you place your tree at the curb days or weeks ahead of the collection, rain and snow can freeze the tree to the ground, making it unsafe for the drivers to pick up.  Trees stuck to the ground will not be collected.  When you take your tree down, leave it in a covered location or cover it with a tarp until your regular collection day during the week of January 17 - 21.

Trees will be taken to the State College Borough Compost Facility.
