Centre County Solar + EV Charger Co-op

Ferguson Township is an official partner organization on a new program in Centre County: The Centre County Solar + EV Charger Co-op! This free, nonprofit-led program brings neighbors together to leverage their numbers and get a group discount on solar panels for their homes.

A Solar Co-op is a group of neighbors who are leveraging their numbers to get a group discount on solar panels — and/or electric vehicle chargers! — for their homes. It’s free to join, there are no strings attached, and there’s no pressure to get solar panels or a charger if you learn it’s not right for your home after learning more.

By joining, you get expert guidance throughout the learning and buying process, vendor-neutral info about solar, and a discounted group rate on your panels.

In addition, Solar United Neighbors (SUN) is hosting a free webinar about what to consider when putting solar panels on your home, how you can benefit from solar, and what it means to go solar with the free Centre County Solar + EV Charger Co-op.
