Celebrating Ag Month with a Look at Farmland Preservation in Ferguson Township

March is Ag Month, and in honor and support of our rich agricultural roots, Ferguson Township has created a story map highlighting local farms that have prioritized farmland preservation and shown a commitment to a tradition of family farming.

Home to about half of the preserved agricultural land in Centre County, Ferguson Township boasts a beautiful landscape of patchwork fields used for pasture and crops. Much of the Township's preserved farmland is found along Tadpole Road, Shingletown Road, and Whitehall Road.
