Arbor Day Celebration

The Ferguson Township Board of Supervisors has proclaimed Saturday, April 27, 2024, to be Ferguson Township Arbor Day. (View the proclamation below.) In celebration, the Township is hosting a special Arbor Day Celebration on Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Tom Tudek Memorial Park!

Ferguson Township is designated a Tree City U.S.A., home to vast green spaces and woodlands that provide clean air, serve as habitat for wildlife, and beautify the community. As such, the Township is delighted to join this global holiday by emphasizing tree planting and care.

This event offers plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy, including tree planting, free tree seedlings, bucket truck rides, a guided tree walk, arts & crafts, refreshments, and much more!

Tom Tudek Memorial Park is located at 400 Herman Drive, State College, PA 16801. Festivities will kick off at Pavilion 1.
