The Centre Area Transportation Authority’s (CATA’s) Fall 2022 Full Service schedule will go into effect on Monday, August 15, 2022. Service changes effective on this date include:

•The introduction of the new high-frequency Atherton Street and College Avenue Connectors. Both routes will operate on a 24-minute frequency and are designed to connect the community with employment centers, retail destinations, restaurants, medical offices, etc. These routes provide service to Downtown State College, allowing for convenient transfer to the Blue and White Loops for travel onto Campus. PLEASE NOTE: The implementation of this new service will result in the elimination of the following routes: K, M portion of the HM (Downtown State College to the Nittany Mall), P, and XP. The H portion of the former HM route (Toftrees to Downtown State College) will become a standalone route.

• The introduction of the new Northwest and Southwest CATAGO microtransit zones, servicing the areas of Park Forest, Science Park, Pine Grove Mills, some neighborhoods within State College Borough, and the vicinity (including the majority of the areas formerly serviced by the now-discontinued A, F, G, and S routes), during peak commute times weekdays, 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

• Late night service restoration after 10:00 p.m. weekdays provided by the College Avenue Connector, NV, and RP Routes.

• Increased mid-day service on the HU, NE, RC, VE, and WE express routes.
