Bike Paths and Parking Lots to Close Temporarily for Sealcoating

Weather permitting during the week of July 29, Ferguson Township and State College Borough will temporarily close bike paths and parking lots to perform sealcoat maintenance activities. The paths and lots will be posted prior to the closure.
- Path sealcoating will begin on Monday, July 29
- Parking lot sealcoating is scheduled for Wednesday, July 31 and Thursday, August 1
Each section of path and parking lot will be closed for 24 – 48 hours to allow for two applications of sealcoat and curing before use.
Sealcoating will not be performed in wet conditions and the work is weather dependent. Ferguson Township will post updates on the schedule as they become available.
- Blue Course Path – Circleville Road to Bristol Avenue
- Orchard Park/Stonebridge Path – Grace Street to Shellers Bend
- Orchard Park Path – Edgewood Circle to Westerly Parkway
- Tudek Circleville Path – Hillcrest Avenue Extension to Park Avenue
- Foxpointe Path – Pine Hall Road to Prairie Lane
- Tusseyview Park Path
- East Fairmount Park Path
The following parking lots will also be sealcoated and closed for 24-48 hours:
- Holmes Foster
- Orchard Park
- Lederer Park
- Sunset Park
- High Point Park
