2023 Sustainable PA Conference Planned with Chair Strickland’s Leadership

Board of Supervisors Chair Lisa Strickland serves on the Conference Planning Committee for the 2023 Sustainable PA Annual Conference to be held in Gettysburg November 1-3, 2023. The 2023 conference promotes sustainable practices in Pennsylvania and explores ways to reach local community energy emissions reduction goals.

Ferguson Township is recognized as a Certified Gold Community by Sustainable Pennsylvania. The certification is offered by The Pennsylvania Municipal League in cooperation with Sustainable Pittsburgh and allows local governments to showcase their progress toward sustainability initiatives that improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
