2023 Arbor Day Celebration Recap

Ferguson Township's 2023 Arbor Day Celebration was a Treemendous success! Dozens of residents gathered at Tom Tudek Memorial Park on Saturday, April 29, 2023, to participate in the festivities. Activities included: arts and crafts, a tree seedling giveaway, a tree walk through the Tudek Memorial Grove, bucket truck rides and the reading of the Ferguson Township Arbor Day Proclamation and tree planting.

Mark your calendars for next year on Saturday, April 27, 2024 for the Townships 9th and biggest Arbor Day Celebration.

Arbor Day can be celebrated as a simple act of planting a tree. In order to stay well informed regarding tree planting or tree care the USDA Tree Owner's Manual can be a valuable resource.
