The School District Real Estate Property Tax second installment payment ends October 1. Residents opting to participate in the installment payment plan will need to submit second payment with coupon to the Ferguson Township Building at 3147 Research Drive, State College, 16801.

The Pennsylvannia School District Real Property Tax Installment Payments, Chapter 15 of the Taxpayer Relief Act, permits school districts to adopt installment payment plans for the collection of school real property taxes. Act 1, Chapter 15, of 2006 provided an opportunity for residential homestead/farmstead qualified and approved property owners to enter into installment payment plans for their school district real estate taxes. Significant legislation, Act 25 of 2011, was passed to further extend the installment payment option by authorizing small businesses to also participate in the installment payment plan.
The State College Area School District, by its authority, has elected to extend this option to all property owners. Residents elect to use the installment plan by sending the Township the first installment payment by the applicable payment dates and amount due for each of the three coupons. Tax statements should come with coupons, however, should residents not recieve it they are encouraged to contact the Townships Finance and Tax office for a discussion.
