Tudek Park Playground Reopens for Public Use

The newly replaced playground at Tudek Park, located near the central pavilion and basketball court, is now open for public use as of June 2026.

The project began the week of October 1, 2025, when the original playground equipment that was installed in 1998 was removed to make way for new improvements. The equipment had been identified during a 2022 safety inspection as nearing the end of its life cycle and in need of near-term replacement, and the project was included in the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) for several years before being formally scheduled for construction in 2025.

The need for replacement became more urgent in 2025: the swing set was removed from service that summer due to structural issues and a lack of available replacement parts, and in September 2025, the main play structure suffered damage to a slide that could not be repaired or replaced.

With construction now complete, residents are invited to come enjoy the new playground at Tudek Park.
