Summer Road Paving to Begin June 15th

During the April 21st, 2026, Board of Supervisors Regular Meeting, the Board of Supervisors awarded Big Rock Paving LLC with Ferguson Township’s Street Improvement Project Contract (2026-C1). Construction is scheduled to take place June 15 through June 26, 2026.

Work on Linn Street, Tara Circle and West Gatesburg will begin the week of June 15. Work on Sycamore Drive and West Gatesburg is anticipated to be completed by June 26.

Work dates are weather dependent. Residents will be notified of parking restrictions. Expect lane closures and use alternative routes when possible. Revisit the Ferguson Township website for updates. 

Properties located within the following areas should plan for possible travel and parking disruptions:

Tara Circle:
Access to properties will be restricted during active construction activities. Access will be fully restored at the end of each day. Residents are encouraged to park along Sleepy Hollow Drive during active work hours and access their properties via the outside of the active work area.

Linn Street:
Access to properties will be restricted during active construction activities. Access will be fully restored at the end of each day. Residents are encouraged to park along Aaron Drive, North Hills Place, Allen Street, and Harris Street during active work hours and access their properties via the outside of the active work area.

Denton Ave:
Access to properties will be restricted during active construction activities. Access will be fully restored at the end of each day. Residents are encouraged to park along Aaron Drive, North Hills Place, and Allen Street during active work hours and access their properties via the outside of the active work area.

Cromer Drive:
Access to properties will be restricted during active construction activities. Access will be fully restored at the end of each day. Residents are encouraged to park along Aaron Drive, North Hills Place, and Allen Street during active work hours and access their properties via the outside of the active work area.

West Gatesburg (Boundary Oaks to White Oak Lane):
Access to all properties will be maintained with at least one lane of the street open while work is completed throughout the project.

Sycamore Drive (Upper Turnaround):
Access to properties will be restricted during active construction activities. Access will be fully restored at the end of each day. Residents are encouraged to park along Sycamore Drive during active work hours and access their properties via the outside of the active work area.

Please Note:

• All residents and adjacent property owners will be provided at least 24 hours of notice prior to start of active work.
• All work will be completed within the public right of way.
• Driveway adjustments and any area disturbed during construction activities will be restored by Big Rock Paving.
• Work at each individual site is expected to be completed in one to three days barring unforeseen conditions
