Arbor Day Celebration - April 26, 2025

Ferguson Township is hosting an Arbor Day celebration on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Haymarket Park (1631 Bristol Avenue, State College, PA 16801).
A designated Tree City USA community and home to abundant green spaces and woodlands, Ferguson Township is committed to preserving the environment. The theme for this year’s celebration is “Healthy Trees, Healthy Township,” highlighting the vital role trees play in creating a sustainable, vibrant community. The Township’s dedication to trees—critical for clean air, wildlife habitat, and enhancing the beauty of the area—is reflected in this special event, aimed at promoting tree planting and care.
