Stormwater Fee Study Phase II

Ferguson Township entered into a contract with its consultant, Wood, for Phase II of the Stormwater Fee Study.

The first meeting of the Stormwater Advisory Committee for Phase II of the study took place on April 10 2019. In addition to the stakeholders represented during Phase 1, a member of the Ferguson Township Tree Commission is serving. Township staff reached out to past committee members and potential new members to confirm their interest in serving. 

During this phase, the committee will firm up the scope of the program and provide guidance on implementing a level of service and fee to pay for the program. The Township and its consultant will hold public hearings and prepare a Stormwater User Fee draft ordinance.

Township Staff and their Consultant have created two documents that provide the most concise and current information on the work plan, operation and capital expenses, and elements of work. The Cost of Service (Updated 2/5/21) is a tabular summary of anticipated operational and capital costs for the Proposed Stormwater Fee Program beginning in FY2022. The Schedule of Program (Updated 1/18/21) identifies elements of the work program and associated year the work is planned.
