Sealed bids were accepted by the Ferguson Township Board of Supervisors, for Project 2018-PWGG at the office of the Public Works Director, Ferguson Township, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801 until 2:00 PM, prevailing time, on October 1, 2019 at which time they were annouced at public meetings:
Project 2018-PWGG Ferguson Township Public Works Building
The project includes the construction of a new 13,753 SF public works building at 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801. The project includes LEED v4 for BD+C New Construction and Major Renovation for Gold Certification. The project includes three Maintenance Bays, a Wash Bay, Mechanical Equipment, Electrical, Fluid and Parts Rooms, a Fuel Bay with underground storage tanks, Kitchen, Restrooms, Locker Rooms, and Offices, and related utility and site work.
Bidders must have LEED construction experience and be prequalified for the work being performed with the bid.
The project is subject to minimum prevailing wage rates.
The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined in the Engineering Department of the Ferguson Township Municipal Building, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801 or at the office of Greenfield Architects, 1853 William Penn Way, Lancaster, PA 17601 by contacting Ross Ansel, A.I.A, Senior Project Architect. The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be obtained from Print-O-Stat, 1741 Rohrerstown Road, Lancaster, PA 17601 by calling 717-581-6680.
Bids shall be valid for 90 days from the date of opening unless extended otherwise.
An optional pre-bid meeting will be held on August 8, 2019 at 10:30 AM at the Ferguson Township Building.
All bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 5% of the bid. Additional requirements for the bid submission are outlined in the Project Manual. Ferguson Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any bid formalities.
