Single Vehicle Crash on Marengo Road and W. Gatesburg Road

On March 12, 2020, at approximately 11:10 PM, officers responded to Marengo Road and W. Gatesburg Road for a single vehicle side by side ATV crash with injuries. 

An ATV driven by a 34-year-old Warriors Mark man was southbound on Marengo Road and lost control of the ATV causing it to crash into a telephone pole and roll over.  The driver sustained multiple injuries and was flown to UPMC Altoona.  The passenger also sustained injury and was transported via ambulance to UPMC Altoona.  They are reported to be in stable condition.

Marengo Road was closed for approximately two hours.  Alcohol is believed to be factor in the crash.  The crash is still under investigation. 

Update - The driver sustained multiple facial fractures, jaw fracture, femur fracture and left arm fracture.
