Ferguson Township police respond to hit-and-run involving vehicle and bicycle

At 1:15 pm today, June 3, Ferguson Township Police responded to a hit-and-run accident in the 4400 block of Tadpole Road, where a vehicle collided with a bicyclist. After the collision, the driver took off through a cornfield, driving at an angle approximately 100 yards before abandoning the vehicle and fleeing into the woods.

He is described as a thin white male wearing a tan shirt. 

The bicyclist, a 66-year-old female from Stormstown, sustained minor injuries and was transported to Mt. Nittany Medical Center for treatment.

Police are investigating and appreciate any information the public can provide about the driver.
