Ferguson Township PD & Alpha Fire Company Host Fire Safety Event at Baileyville Community Hall

On Saturday, June 11, 2022, Alpha Fire Company and Ferguson Township Police Department hosted a Fire Safety Event at the Baileyville Community Hall. Representatives from the Centre Region Code Office spoke about fire safety, and staff from Swartz Fire & Safety, Inc. evaluated old fire extinguishers, refilled serviceable units and sold new fire extinguishers and smoke detectors.

The highlight of the event was aerial rides in an Alpha Fire firetruck. Attendees of all ages enjoyed the ride!

Ferguson Police Officers handed out stuffed K-9 toys, stickers, plastic badges, gun locks, and provided police vehicle tours. Officer Mike Lamb, Sgt. Ryan Hendrick and Chief Chris Albright attended the event from Ferguson Township Police Department.
