Schlow Centre Region Library continues to monitor the situation with the coronavirus outbreak. The library’s closure has been extended through at least Friday, April 3.

In addition, all remote book drop locations, both at the library’s building and throughout the Centre Region, will be closed starting Friday, March 20. The library is asking patrons to please not leave items around the book drops as they will not be monitored.

The library’s Library By Mail services also are suspended until further notice.

No late fees will be assessed and no items will be due until at least April 3.

Schlow’s virtual library at schlowlibrary.org remains open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week throughout its closure for visitors to get temporary library cards, manage their library accounts, and download digital materials, including eBooks, eAudiobooks, magazines, and movies for all ages.

For continued updates, visit schlowlibrary.org/coronavirus as well as Schlow’s social media platforms on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn as the library continues to post updates during this rapidly-evolving situation.

Schlow thanks everyone for their patience as it determines the best course to continue providing library services while protecting the health of its visitors, volunteers, and staff.
