PENNDOT Maintenance Schedule for Centre County - May 11 to May 15
Bellefonte, PA – PENNDOT Centre County Maintenance announces the following work schedule for the week of May 11, 2020 through May 15, 2020, weather permitting. Motorists should travel with extra caution in these and all work areas. Motorists should be aware that due to the nature of highway maintenance and emergency work, crews could be working on any highway at any time of the day or night.
Bridge Cleaning
- Bellefonte – Various Locations
- Boalsburg -- Various Locations
Drainage Improvements
- Huston Township – Various Locations
- SR350 – Various Locations
- SR3006 – Valley View Road
- SR3008 – Purdue Mountain Road
Sweeping
- I80 – Various Locations
- I99 -- Various Locations
- Blanchard – Various Locations
- Howard – Various Locations
- Milesburg – Various Locations
The following work is scheduled to be completed by contractor, weather permitting.
HRI, Inc will begin work on placing new traffic signal poles and sign structure at the intersection of SR 26 Jacksonville Road and I-80 Exit 161 Westbound in Marion Township. They will begin to run the wires to the new signals and prepare them to be activated. Once activated they will take down the temporary signals. Line painting will consist of moving the stop bar on SR26 to its new location. There will be flaggers in place for changing traffic patterns during the working hours.
