CATA K (Cato Park) Route Enhancement

CATA introduced a one-year pilot schedule/frequency change on the K (Cato Park) Route in Ferguson Township in August 2019, aimed at increasing ridership along West Beaver Avenue and West College Avenue, as well as between the University Park Campus and destinations along Old Gatesburg Road, Science Park Road, and Cato Park.  With the change, weekday service frequency on the route was increased from hourly to every half hour between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

To date, this change has resulted in a 50% increase in ridership on the route.
