Autumnwood Park

Description:

Autumnwood Park is as beautiful as its name implies. Nestled in a residential community, this gem is a great place for children of all ages to enjoy. The park features a playground with equipment for younger and older children, a picnic pavilion, a soccer field, and walking path. View the Autumnwood Park Photo Gallery.

On Sunday, November 10, Rick Robinett, a twelve-year resident of Ferguson Township, was joined by Ron Woodhead, Director of Centre Region Parks and Recreation (CRPR), Jim Carpenter, CRPR Park Superintendent, and Mark Kunkle, Ferguson Township Manager to construct the "Little Free Library," a place where the community can borrow a book left by another passer-by, or leave a book for another to enjoy. Robinett ordered the kit from the Little Free Library website as a way to bring something unique to the community. So, next time you find yourself in Autumnwood Park, don't forget to visit the Little Free Library for an interesting read, or bring along one of your favorites that you would like to share with someone else!
