Bicycle Implementation Study Results Presented

The Penn State students wrapped their Bicycle Facilities Implementation Study with a presentation to the Board of Supervisors on Monday, December 9th. The students surveyed over 120 people in Ferguson Township to gather data on where bike paths are needed in the Township to increase safety and traffic flow. They found that residents were most concerned about W Pine Grove Road's lack of a bike path. Respondents expressed safety concerns and a lack of concern from motorists on this stretch of road. Residents also expressed an interest to have separate bike paths rather than roadway paths.
