Ferguson and Patton Township Police stop 24 motorists for aggressive driving

Ferguson Township and Patton Township Police stopped 24 motorists and issued citations during
a joint aggressive driving enforcement detail from 2:30 to 6:30 pm on Friday, April 13. 

Officers conducted the detail in conjunction with Wave 2 of the Pennsylvania Aggressive Driving
Enforcement and Education Project, as well as National Distracted Driving Month and National
Work Zone Awareness Week.

This detail focused on speeding and other aggressive driving violations, such as distracted driving,
keep-right pass left, driving too fast for conditions, following too closely, and any other vehicle code
violation that officers observed.

Both the Ferguson and Patton Township Police Departments remind motorists to drive safely and wear
your seat belts.
