FTPD detective recognized for efforts in 2017 aggressive driving operations

Date: February 13, 2018

Ferguson Township Police Detective Caleb Clouse was recognized on February 13 with an award for his  efforts in the 2017 wave of aggressive driving operations. The award is from the Pennsylvania Aggressive Driving Enforcement and Education Project (PAADEEP), a statewide initiative that uses crash data to identify aggressive driving locations.

Officers participating in aggressive driving details conduct high visibility target enforcement, training, and coordinated public awareness on these roadways to reduce the number of needless aggressive driving injuries and deaths.

As a criminal investigator, Detective Clouse participated in four separate aggressive driving details in 2017 -- resulting in 24 traffic stops and 23 traffic citations for aggressive driving.

The Ferguson Township Police Department congratulates Detective Clouse on receiving this award, and thanks him for all of his efforts on and off the road on behalf of the Township.
