The variance application of Edisto Partners, LP of 121 Sunday Drive, State College, PA 16801 regarding their property at 1500 West College Avenue, State College., tax parcel 24-002A-177.  The applicants are requesting a variance to Chapter 27-1003.E.(3) to not be required to complete a land development plan to enclose an existing covered porch for additional office space.  The property is located in the TS district. This meeting is open to the public.

The variance application of Science Park Road Associates, L.P. and Accuweather, inc of 385 Science Park Road, State College PA 16803 regarding the property at 385 Science Park Road, State College, tax parcel 24-004-0021R.  The applicants are in the process of completing a land development plan for a new parking lot on the property. The zoning ordinance in Chapter 27-807.15and Chapter 27-807.16.B  requires that a flexible buffer yard be installed around the property perimeter and that a minimum of one canopy tree be planted in each parking lot island.  The applicants are requesting variances to Chapter 27-807.15 and Chapter 27-807.16.B to eliminate the buffer yard plantings and some parking island trees.  The property is in the IRD Zoning District.

The variance application of Charles Loesch of 2191 Upper Brush Valley Road, Centre Hall PA, regarding the property at 2542-2544 Circleville Road, State College, tax parcel 24-03A-001.  The applicants are requesting a variance to Chapter 27-205.1.D, Chapter 27-903.A and Chapter 27-903.B.2 of the Zoning Ordinance to remove an existing garage and construct a single family dwelling on the lot.  This dwelling unit would be in addition to the existing 2 family rental on the property.  The property is in the R-1 Zoning District.
