Supervisors announce ABC vacancies and new policy on appointments

At its Regular Meeting on October 2, 2017, the Ferguson Township Board of Supervisors adopted a new policy for the appointment of representatives on local and regional authorities, boards, and commissions:

Applications will be accepted through November 1, 2017. Current members will be asked if they wish to continue but will not need to re-apply unless they need to report a change to their original application. Every current and prospective member will be interviewed in November or December. Appointments will be approved and announced at the Board's Organizational Meeting in January 2018.

Authorities, Boards and Commissions
Ferguson Township Planning Commission
Ferguson Township Zoning Hearing Board
Tax Review Board
Industrial and Commercial Development Authority
Ferguson Township Parks Committee (new)

State College Borough Water Authority
Schlow Centre Region Library
