Tudek Dog Park
425 Park Crest Lane

Construction activities began at the Tudek Dog Park parking lot last this week. This project includes a new parking lot with ADA parking and a connecting sidewalk, landscaping, and a monument sign. Work is underway by the Township's contractor, H&R Excavating, Inc. The existing lot will be closed until work is completed. Dog Park users may park on the south side of Park Crest Lane. The work is scheduled for completion by October 27.

Earlier this week, Ferguson Township Public Works crews removed the playground equipment at the Overlook Heights Tot Lot. Ferguson Township had become aware that the equipment stands on private property.

This small park, located along the Clinton Avenue/McKee Street Bike Path near the Ferguson Township
and State College Borough border, had served as a playground for children ages 2 - 5. The Township plans
to install a bench as a resting place for those who walk, run or bike the shared use path between Clinton
Avenue and McKee Street. Township Supervisors will decide the park's future at a later date. Residents
are encouraged to use the playground equipment and other amenities at Overlook Heights' Suburban Park,
located at 101 Suburban Ave., off Vairo Boulevard.
