Take the new Organics Recycling Education Survey

Date: December 5, 2017

Did you know that the Centre Region Council of Governments (COG) is developing a curbside cart collection organics recycling program? Please take 5 minutes to complete a new survey that will help COG develop its educational outreach program for organics recycling.

In its first survey conducted in 2015, COG learned that 80 percent of the survey respondents were interested in participating in a weekly curbside organics recycling program that would collect yard and food waste. COG and Ferguson Township have been developing an Organics Recycling Program that will consider demands, costs, and customer service for the next contract in 2020.

Working with Penn State students, COG has created this survey to gain insights from you. Your participation will help COG to create an effective, consistent educational outreach message when it rolls out the proposed organics recycling program. Last week Advanced Disposal sent out an email to 1,400 of the 15,000 households informing them about the survey.

COG appreciates your taking 5 minutes to complete the survey.

The survey closes on December 18. If you have any questions please contact Pam Adams at padams@crcog.net, or (814) 234-7198.
