Zoning Hearing Board Meeting

The Ferguson Township Zoning Hearing Board will meet on Tuesday March 24, 2015 at 7:00 PM in the Main Meeting room of the Ferguson Township Municipal Building located at 3147 Research Drive, State College PA 16801 to hear the following requests:

THIS REQUEST WILL BE HELD AT NEXT MONTHS MEETING SCHEDULED FOR APRIL 28TH:  The variance application of Cellco Partnership d/b/a as Verizon Wireless regarding the properties  along W. Whitehall Road, tax parcel numbers 24-006-025 and 24-006-07A, which are owned by  J&M Kocher Family Limited Partnership II, 3670 W. Whitehall Road.  The applicants are requesting variance to Chapter 27-209(IV) (a), 27-209 (IV)(d)(iii) to allow placement of a 190 foot tall cell tower closer than the required 500 foot setback; Chapter 27-209(IV) (h)(ii)(I)  to waive the requirement of landscaping along the entire perimeter of the security fence, and to  Chapter 27-801(B) to permit  the access drive to cross a mapped floodplain.  The property is located in the RA Zoning District.

The variance application fo Nancy Doyle or 1752 Manor Court, State College, regarding her property at 1752 Manor Court.  The applicant is requesting a variance Chapter 27-204, A-1.5  to the permit a small accessory structure that exceeds the permitted height for a small accessory structure.  The property is located in a PRD.

The variance application of Toll Brothers Commercial, 250 Gilbrator Road, 3rd Floor West, Horsham PA, regarding the property located at the South Side of W. Whitehall Road at the Blue Course Drive Extension, tax parcels 24-4-76, 24-004-076A and 24-004-094.  The applicants are requesting a variance to Chapter 27-407.2.B.8 to not be required to submit a Pre-Final Design submission for the Proposed PRD and to proceed to the Application for Final Design Submission.  The property is currently zoned R-4 and RA.

The variance application of Corey J. Confer of 1040 Confer Farm Lane, Bellefonte, PA., regarding his property at 246 W. Clinton Avenue.  The applicants are requesting a variance to the Riparian Buffer yard regulations of Chapter 27-213 to pave an existing gravel area for parking spaces.  The property is located in the C. General Commercial Zoning District.
