Submitting Community/Neighborhood Events for the Community Calendar

Ferguson Township welcomes your submissions of community and neighborhood event announcements for our Community Calendar. Events must meet all of the following criteria:
 

  • Take place in Ferguson Township

  • Open to the general public; anyone is welcome to attend

  • Free admission

  • Represent the community coming together for civic improvements or to help each other 

  • Be a neighborhood celebration or neighborhood/community-wide event, such as a community yard sale, parade, award presentation or other recognition, not-for-profit fundraiser to benefit the community (please note type of event on the form)

  • Include no commercial activity or promotion (with the exception of community yard sales); cannot promote individual businesses

  • If held in a Centre Region Parks and Recreation park, must comply with CRPR regulations as relevant and have an approved CRPR permit, where applicable

Approved events will appear in the Ferguson Township Community Calendar, where we also post events sponsored by our partners in the community.

Please submit events two months in advance, if possible, by completing our Online Form, below, with the following
:

  • Your event title

  • Sponsoring organization

  • Type of event

  • Time, date and location

  • Parking availability

  • Your contact information

  • Are you providing a promotional photo or poster with your submission?

 

In case of cancellation, please e-mail the Township at contact@twp.ferguson.pa.us, providing 24 - 48 hours’ notice if possible.
