Budget and Financial Information?

To learn about Ferguson Township's finances, you will find current as well as past operating budgets, budget summaries, capital improvement plans, and comprehensive annual financial reports on the Finance Department's Budget and Audits page. For local tax rates, due dates, and an up-to-date tax calculator, visit the Tax Information page.

Township News and Announcements?

Ferguson Township keeps residents and businesses informed by publishing a monthly e-Newsletter and a semi-annual print newsletter, sharing news through our website, and by posting on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. We post daily and update as frequently as possible.

Every household receives a copy of the print newsletter. If your household is not yet on the Township's mailing list, you can sign up to subscribe at the same link where you sign up to receive meeting agendas, press releases and other announcements.

We also maintain a Community Partners page and  Community Calendar to help local non-profit organizations share their news, and we have archived C-NET recordings of our Board of Supervisors and Planning Commission meetings.

The Centre Region Council of Governments?

The Centre Region Council of Governments can be reached by phone at (814) 231-3077 or online by clicking here. Their offices are located at 2643 Gateway Dr. State College, PA 16801. For directions, click here.

The Water Company?

If you live in western Ferguson Township, your water service is provided by Rock Springs Water Company. Telephone: (814) 231-2911

Otherwise, your water service is the State College Borough Water Authority. Its business hours are 8 am - 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. Telephone: (814) 238-6766

The Sewer Company?

Sewer service in Ferguson Township is provided by the University Area Joint Authority. Telephone: (814) 238-5361

The Trash and Recycling Company?

Advanced Disposal is the designated trash hauler for Ferguson Township. Visit its website.

Recycling services are provided by the Centre County Recycling & Refuse Authority, located at 253 Transfer Rd. Bellefonte, PA 16823. Telephone: (814) 238-7005.

My Real Estate Taxes?

For information about Real Estate Taxes for Ferguson Township, visit the Finance Department. Residents may pay by mail or in person via cash, check or money order. If you have any questions about Real Estate Taxes that are not answered on the website, contact the Township's Tax Office by email or by calling (814) 238-4651.

My Earned Income Tax and Local Services Tax?

The Centre Tax Agency collects Earned Income Tax and Local Services Tax for Ferguson Township. The office is located at the State College Borough Municipal Building at 243 S. Allen St. State College, PA 16801.

Directions to Centre Tax Agency

Visit the Centre Tax Agency website for instructions on submitting a payment. If you have additional questions, you may contact Centre Tax Agency at (814) 234-7120.

A Parking Ticket?

Parking tickets may be paid in person or by mail. The Township does not currently accept online payments for parking tickets. Tickets may be paid in cash, by check, or money order. If mailing your payment, however, it is not recommended to pay by cash. Please make all checks payable to Ferguson Township.

Payments may be submitted outside regular business hours using the drop box in the front of the Municipal Building. Please follow the instructions on the ticket to properly submit payment.

Ferguson Township does not accept liability for lost or stolen payments.

Appeal a parking ticket

A Citation?

Citations may be paid either in person or by mail at the Magisterial District listed at the top of your citation. The reverse side of the citation will have information regarding payment.

For a Permit?

Application fees for permits may be paid by cash, check, or money order at the Ferguson Township Municipal Building. Please note that an application for a permit will not be reviewed until the application fee has been received. Other fees that may be associated with a permit such as escrows may be paid when the permit is ready to be picked up.

My Refuse Bill?

The Township participates in the Refuse and Recycling Program of Centre Region Council of Governments. To visit their website, click here. Payments for your refuse collection service may be submitted by mail, phone, or online by clicking here.

For the Adopt-A-Road Program?

Ferguson Township still has spots available on the adoption list if you or your group are interested in becoming involved! Participants are asked to commit to the program for at least two years and to clean their adopted road twice per year. For more information on how to become involved, contact the Receptionist at (814) 238-4651 or by email, or visit the Adopt-A-Road webpage.
