ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed bids will be accepted by the Ferguson Township Board of Supervisors, for Project 2017-C1 at the office of the Public Works Director, Ferguson Township, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801-2798 until 2:00 PM, prevailing time, on February 26, 2019 at which time they will be opened publicly and read aloud:

PROJECT 2017-C1: ROAD IMPMROVEMENTS PROJECT – KANSA AVENUE

The project is on Kansa Avenue, located in the Piney Ridge development of Ferguson Township, Centre County. The project includes installation of drainage pipe and inlets, milling of existing pavement, placement of bituminous asphalt, erosion control matting, grading and seeding of roadside area, and associated work.

Bidders must be PennDOT prequalified for the work being performed with the bid.

The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or copies obtained in the Engineering Department of the Ferguson Township Municipal Building, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801-2798, upon payment of $35.00/set. If mailed, an additional fee will be charged to cover postage and handling. The plans may be viewed on the Ferguson Township website www.twp.ferguson.pa.us and Contract Documents can be sent electronically at no charge. Bids shall be valid for forty-five (45) days from the date of opening unless extended otherwise.

All bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid. Ferguson Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any bid formalities.
